![]() They were married from Novemuntil his death. Later in life he was united in marriage to Theresa Traylor Roquemore of Naples, Texas. He was married to Easter Mary Roquemore, and to this union nine children were born. After his retirement, he operated a lawn service for many years until his health failed. He was employed at Lone Star Steel in Lone Star, Texas and retired with a 33 year tenure as an overhead crane operator. He was a member of the American Legion Veterans of Foreign Wars. He received multiple medals and ribbons for his service. There he served as deacon, Sunday school teacher, and a choir member.įred served in the US Army from February 1945 to December 1946 and was deployed to Asia during World War II. Later he united with and became a faithful servant at Hughes Chapel Baptist Church in Hughes Springs, Texas. He loved the Lord and accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age at St. Friday at the funeral home.įred Douglas Roquemore was born Jin Bivins, Texas to the parentage of Clayton Roquemore, Sr. Roquemore will lie in state from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Saint Paul Cemetery in Bivins, Texas under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home of Hughes Springs. ![]() Saturday, Novemat Hughes Chapel Baptist Church.
